Due to the country's current credit crisis, Mike Sandman Enterprises, Inc. (MSE) is no longer being offered for sale.

In the last couple of months inquiries have stopped coming in, so we're going to wait until the economy/market/politics improves before offering the company for sale again.

Like every other business in America, our intention in selling the company is to maximize the return for past efforts, and in our case speed up growth in a rapidly evolving industry. The credit situation in our country has stalled mergers and acquisitions of both large and small companies, in most industries.

So far, MSE has seen growth in a year that looked like it could have been catastrophic (at least according to news reports). Most companies still involved in manufacturing in the US should see growth as the economies of manufacturing here make importing from China less of a bargain.

We'll continue developing new telecommunications products, and solving strange telecom problems on our own until the business climate in the US improves, and credit is more available to potential buyers.

Even though we're not actively looking for a buyer at this time, every company is for sale at the right price! Should your company be looking to acquire a telecom distributor/manufacturer in a strategic sale (only), and there are substantial synergies, give us a call. We're not looking to be acquired in a financial sale.

Why is this "ad" on our web site? With over 2,000 visitors a day to our site, many of whom are in the telecom business with a problem to solve, it's the easiest way to find a buyer. MSE’s specialty has been alleviating telecom pain for the last 18 years.

M&A guys call this a strategic sale, not a financial sale (where someone buys a company to continue to run it). A qualified buyer would be in the telecom business, with products that can be sold to MSE's 37,000 customers (that MSE doesn't currently carry). A qualified buyer would have a large number of customers who would be prospects for MSE's unique telecom products.

Located in an 8,000 square foot facility in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, IL, MSE has been providing unique telecommunications solutions since 1990. MSE's tools and devices are used at most of the Interconnects in the US. MSE's mailing list consists of over 37,000 customers and catalog requestors. No single customer purchases 2% of MSE's total sales.

Most distributors carry stuff that can be found at numerous places on the web (from numerous distributors). MSE is a destination for both unique problem solving devices, and the technical information needed to use them. With today's quickly changing telecom environment, this guarantees a steady flow of both old and new customers.

MSE is completely computerized, with screen pops and a custom POS system allowing customers to place their order and get back to work in an average of under four minutes. There is no voice mail system... all calls are handled in a timely manner by real people.

MSE's experienced staff are experts in their jobs, which allows MSE to not only take orders and ship as quickly as possible, but to come up with solutions to a customer's problem by combining MSE products - which includes custom manufacturing a unique product as quickly as the same day.

All of MSE's products are bar-coded, and every item that's shipped is scanned by a program that verifies that the correct part and quantity is being packed. That results in accurate picking and packing, allowing for only a single shipping/packing/picking error for every 3,000 orders.

Starting as a telecom distributor with a single product in 1990, MSE added manufacturing in the early 1990s. Today, a good percentage of MSE's unique products are manufactured by MSE, and that percentage is growing.
